General Information

INTRODUCTION

Nene Valley Harriers were formed on the 1st April 1977. The aim of the club was to create the premier club in Peterborough for cross-country, road plus track and field.

The club now boasts a membership of well over three hundred. Members are of all standards. We cater for males and females with sections catering for all ages from 11 to 80+.

The club, which is run by athletes for athletes, meets every Tuesday and Thursday at the Embankment Athletics track throughout the year.

The subscription is £30 per year for seniors, commencing April 1st, or £20 for those in full time education. Associate membership for non-athletes who assist the club is £5. Family Membership is £50

WHAT DO YOU RECEIVE?

· Use of track on club nights.
· Free entry to all club track, road and cross-country championships.
· Electronic newsletter, including fixture listing, results, comments and general information.
· Qualified coaches to give advice if required.
. £2 off all road race entry fees
· Entry to the following events:

Track:
Men's Southern League Div. 1
Women's Southern League
East Anglian League
National Young Athletes League Div. 1

Road:
Nene Valley 10 miles race
Area and National road relay championships

Cross-country:
North Midlands League
County Championships
