Julian wins two silvers at the South of England Vets Indoor Champs

NVH's Julian Smith fought off stiff competition from athletes from across the South of England to win two silver medals at the South of England Vets Indoor Championships at Lee Valley in London on Sunday. (Feb 16)
The Werrington-based athlete posted impressive times of 7.87 in the 60m and 26.18 for the 200m to claim his podium place. Smith said he was pleased with the results, adding; “They were a bit off my bests from 2010, but I shouldn't really be expecting to go much quicker at 44 than at 40! My main focus is the 100m and 200m at the National Outdoor Championships in August.”
